- Stock models must have proof of being stock.
- Tractors must have stock wheels.
- Tractors must maintain stock appearance. (No engine modifications)
- Tractors must have factory bolt-on draw bar and left in factory location. Not to exceed 20 inches. (Pullers responsibility to furnish proof with parts book or operators manual.)
- Tractors must maintain stock ignition system. (Straight exhaust acceptable.)
- Tractors may use factory bolt-on wheel weights for make and model or may use water in tires.
- Hang on weights within the wheelbase of tractor.
- No custom brackets in wheels.
- All Farm Stock must use clevis or flat plate mounted firmly to the draw bar not to exceed 20 inches high with 3 inch diameter hook hole.
- Low gear pulling only.
- No shifting of T.A.
- Super Antique Tractors are not allowed to pull in the Farm Stock Class. Farm Stock Tractors may pull in any class in which they can qualify.
- No removal of parts on the Farm Stock tractors will be allowed. Examples include: Battery, starter, and/or air cleaners, etc. If the power take-off or hydraulic system pulleys are removed they must have a steel cover in place; provided a cover was offered by the factor. The only exception to this will be factory wheel weights.
- Definition of a Farm Stock tractor: A stock unaltered Farm Stock tractor pulling from a factory draw bar in low gear only. Farm type tires and wheels to the manufactures specifications.
- Rear tires are limited to Farm Tractor type. No radial or cut tires.
- If a part falls off while hooked to the sled, the puller will be disqualified.
- Engine high idle RPM (No load) within 10% factory specs. Must have working governor, no direct throttles will be allowed.
- Puller is responsible to provide proof of tractor eligibility.
- Classes: 3000 3500 4500 5500 6500 7500 8500 9500 10500
2010 Super Antique Rules
- Safety rules apply to all tractors, classes, and persons.
- Drawbar maximum height of 20 inches to hook point.
- Length of drawbar 18 inches minimum from center of wheel to hook point.
- Tractors equipped with removable clevis or pull ring.
- Factory fuels only. No alcohol, nitrous oxide, additives to diesel, etc.
- Factory RPM must be within 30%, checked with hand tachometer with hand throttle full open.
- Must have working brakes.
- Must have working governors – no manual or override.
- Recommended – engine kill switch within reach of driver.
- Mandatory Wheelie Bars and Kill Switch per F.A.T.C. Inc. specs
- Weight racks will be permissible:
- Weights not to extend more than 11 feet from center of rear axle.
- Weights not to extend past the rear tire to the rear.
- All weights must be secured to weight rack.
- All weight racks to be stationary.
- First and second gear pulling only.
- Shifting T.A.’s permitted.
- No steel wheels or radial tires.
- No dual wheels.
- Disputes to be settled by equipment tech committee.
- Maximum tire size 24.5.
- All tractors must cross scales before and after they pull.
- It is the pullers responsibility to provide proof of tractors eligibility.
- Classes: 3000 3500 4500 5500 6500 7500 8500 9500 10500
- Diesel must have air intake flapper.
Open Gear Rules
- Safety rules apply to all tractors, classes, and persons.
- Safe RPM’s
- All tire sizes allowed up to 24.5.
- Tires can be cut.
- Draw bar maximum height of 20 inches to hook point.
- Draw bar can be fixed in any direction. (No floating draw bars.)
- Length of draw bar is 18 inches maximum from the center of the wheel to the hook point.
- Open Gear tractors must have closed ring hitch – 3 inches or more inner diameter and tractor must not obstruct chain or clevis.
- Factory fuels only: Kerosene, Diesel, Propane, Gasoline, CAM 2. Nothing injected.
- Must have working brakes.
- No Engine driven fans allowed over 3,000 RPM’s
- MANDATORY THAT ALL TRACTORS HAVE WHEELIE BARS PER F.A.T.C. INC. SPECS AND A KILL SWITCH.
- Tractor must have original frame, original stock motor mounts, and the same cylinder motor as the original.
- Pull in 2nd or higher. No 1st Gear Pulling.
- Weight racks will be allowed:
- Weights not to extend more than 11 feet from center of rear axle to the front.
- Weights not to extend past the rear tire to the rear.
- All weights must be secured to weight rack.
- All weight racks to be stationary.
- Classes: 3500 4500 5500 6500 7500 8500 9500 10500
- It is the pullers responsibility to provide proof of tractors eligibility.
- NO ONE IN FRONT OF SLED DURING THIS CLASS.
- Must have a roll bar, seat belt, high back seat, and helmet for tractors running over 10 mph.
Turbo Rules
- Safety rules apply to all tractors, classes, and persons.
- Maximum tire size 24.5 x 32.
- All Turbos must be shielded with 1/8 inch Aluminum or 1/16 inch steel. 3/8 inch cable around the motor.
- Must have a closed ring hitch of 3 inches or more inner diameter. Tractor must not obstruct chain or clevis.
- Fuels: Diesel, Gasoline, and Propane allowed.
- All Turbo tractors must have the exhaust either straight up or straight down.
- Turbo tractor RPMs:
- 4500 thru 6500 – Maximum 4000 RPMs
- 7500 thru 10500 – Maximum 3500 RPMs
- Low pressure water injection only. IF YOU CAN LIGHT IT WITH A MATCH. YOU CANNOT USE IT.
- Draw bar maximum height 20 inches to hook point.
- The length of draw bar is 18 inches maximum from center of the wheel to hook point.
- Draw bar to be fixed in all directions. (No floating draw bars.)
- Mandatory all tractors have two wheelie bars, a kill switch, rolls bars and seat belts or high back seat.
- Tractor must have original frame, engine block, transmission, and rear axle.
- Pull in gear of choice.
- Weight racks will be allowed:
- Front weights not to extend more than 11 feet from center of rear axle.
- Rear weights not to exceed part rear tire.
- Classes: 4500 5500 6500 7500 8500 9500 10500
- It is the pullers responsibility to provide proof of tractors eligibility.
- NO ONE IN FRONT OF SLED DURING THIS CLASS.
- Flywheels must be shielded with a minimum of ¼ inch steel plate or the equivalent. Applies to 4500 thru 6500 classes.
Modified Turbo/Super Farm
- Must comply with NTPA/PPL Rules
V-8 Car Motor Rules
- Safety rules apply to all tractors, classes, and persons.
- All Tractors must have a kill switch and up to date fire extinguisher on the right rear fender.
- Must have a roll bar, seat belt, high back seat, and helmet.
- Must have fenders to keep driver off tires.
- Must have full sheet metal to depict scope of an antique tractor.
- Total length not to exceed 11 feet from center of rear axle to furthest point forward.
- Engine to mount no more than 80 inches from the centerline of the rear axle to the centerline of the engine.
- 18.4 x 38 tires only on up to 20 inch rims.
- Speed limit for this class is 14 mph.
- No Alcohol, Gas only.
- Safe RPM’s
- No engine driven fans allowed over 3,000 RPM’s
- Naturally aspirated, one carburetor only engine.
- Must have proper shielding of clutches and automatic transmissions, SCI approved blankets, steel plates, cast iron housing etc. To contain a failure of these parts.
